The Department of Communication welcomes you to the home page of the Graduate Program in Communication at the College of Charleston.

Our program is designed to develop your understanding of research methods and communication theory, ability to conduct basic and applied research, critical thinking for reading the research of others, and for advancement as a professional communicator or teacher/scholar.

This site explains the Master of Arts in Communication, answers the most common questions about the program, and introduces the Graduate Faculty. Information given here is superseded by information contained in the College of Charleston Graduate Catalog.

The Department of Communication also offers a 12-hour graduate certificate in organizational and corporate communication.
