Public Relations Student Society of America
The College of Charleston chapter, founded in November 2002, is only the second one awarded in South Carolina. This is the largest student networking and professional association in the field of public relations.

Lambda Pi Eta
The College of Charleston has a chapter of this national communication honor society, which recognizes outstanding academic achievement.

Forensics and Debate Team
The Debate and Forensic Team has been part of the College of Charleston's academic community since the 1890s.  Members travel to tournaments throughout the Southeast and nation, through the assistance of the Department of Communication.
