About the Awards

The Excellence in Collegiate Education and Leadership (ExCEL) Awards program honors students, faculty, staff, community groups and/or individuals for promoting diversity and excellence at the College of Charleston. Nominations may highlight excellence in teaching, student learning/leadership, athleticism, individual contributions to the campus community, and/or professional, social, and cultural leadership.

The ExCEL Awards also serves as a fundraiser to provide continuous transition services essential to the retention and support of multicultural and first-generation students at the College.
