Outstanding Faculty Awards

Description:  This ExCEL Award recognizes a professor within their academic school for their excellent work in classrooms, labs and research, but most importantly, their efforts to move the College to preeminent academic standing and their ability to inspire students to achieve.   

• Outstanding Faculty for the School of the Arts
• Outstanding Faculty for the School of Business
• Outstanding Faculty for the School of Education, Health, and Human Performance
• Outstanding Faculty for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences
• Outstanding Faculty for the School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs
• Outstanding Faculty for the School of Sciences and Mathematics
• Outstanding Faculty for the Graduate School

Criteria:  Must be a full-time faculty member with at least three years of employment at the College. The faculty nominee must show extraordinary dedication to teaching; contributions to education in the College, community, and a passion for their profession. The faculty nominee is well respected by their peers and displays a caring nature for their students who are the future members of our global society.   Demonstrates a strong commitment to enhancing the values of diversity and inclusion at the College.
