	Department of Education PIN
	The Department of Education PIN is used to electronically sign the FAFSA and the eMPN for federal student and parent loans. It can also be used to track loan repayment online. It is recommended, but not required, that students and parents apply for a PIN. This is a different PIN than is used with CougarTrail. To get a Department of Education PIN go to pin.ed.gov
