New Graduate Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning

Course Offering Information

Urban and Regional Planning certificate courses are offered through the Master of Public Administration program.  The certificate requires students to take four courses, one required course and one course in each of three areas.

Required Course:
PUBA 612       History and Theory of American Urban Planning

One course in Policy and Policy Management:
PUBA 611        Urban Policy
PUBA 620        Local Government Politics and Administration
                                                                 
One course in Legal Issues:

One course in Development Practice:
PUBA 615       Theories of Urban & Regional Development
PUBA 616       Local and Regional Economic Development: Policy & Practice

Admissions Information

Attend the Launch event with guest speaker Ron Mitchum, the Executive Director for the Council of Governments, on Tuesday, May 6 from 6:00 - 7:30 at the Lowcountry Graduate Center. If you can't attend but would like more information, let us know.
