Transfer Students

If you are currently a student at another college or university, follow these steps to ensure a complete application:

• Complete the College of Charleston Undergraduate Admissions Application, preferably using the online system.
• Complete the Honors College application. You can print the PDF version and mail it to the address indicated on the back of the application: Honors College Application.
• A complete Honors College Application includes:
  • Application
  • Writing Sample – In lieu of the traditional essay, please submit a writing sample that was completed at your current institution.
  • Two Letters of Recommendation with the Honors College Recommendation Form - one of the letters must be from a college professor
  • Grades from the current semester at your institution
• Once your application is complete it will be reviewed by the Honors Committee. You can expect a letter in the mail indicating your Honors College admission decision.
