Current Students

If you are currently a student at the College of Charleston, follow these steps to ensure a complete application:

• Pick up an Honors College Application at the Honors Center, 10 Greenway or download the PDF version here.
• A complete Honors College Application includes:
  • Application
  • Writing Sample – In lieu of the traditional essay, please submit a writing sample that was completed in one of your College of Charleston classes
  • One Letter of Recommendation from a College of Charleston professor with the Honors College Recommendation Form
  • Grades from the current semester at the College of Charleston
• Once your application is complete it will be reviewed by the Honors Committee. You can expect a letter in the mail indicating your Honors College admission decision. Please be sure that you provide your local mailing address with your application.
