College of Charleston

More than 90% of the Honors College freshman classes that enrolled in the past few years have received academic merit scholarships. Students are considered for all College of Charleston merit scholarships on the basis of their admission application credentials, provided they are admitted before January 15th, preceding the fall term of freshmen enrollment. The College of Charleston is also a National Merit Scholarship sponsor. Students that are National Merit Finalists and list the College of Charleston as their first choice will receive $1,000 per year in addition to any other scholarships the student receives.
