There are three ways to look up a CofC phone number.
1. Search from the CofC web site: www.cofc.edu.
2. Call directory assistance at 3-5507 from on campus or 953-5507 from off-campus.
3. Use the College of Charleston Campus Directory. A new Campus Directory is published each August and is available for pick up in many locations throughout campus.

Seminars
Telephone Services participates in seminars during Student Orientation in order to provide students and their parents with an overview of the telephone services and programs offered at the College.

Personal Toll Free Numbers
Personal 800 numbers are now available to parents for only 15¢ a minute! There are NO monthly fees or surcharges. This service, provided to you by SCNet, Inc., will ring on your existing telephone number and not affect your current long distance or telephone features. Detailed monthly bills are sent to the home where the number rings. Subscribing is very simple! Just call an SCNet, Inc. customer service representative at 1-800-257-0414 to begin saving today!

Student Calling Cards
Use your student calling card to call friends and family anytime and anywhere for one low rate! Dial 1-800-257-0414, the toll free customer service number on the back of your student I.D. card, to obtain your personal pin code.

SCNet provides our students with excellent rates through its contract with the State of South Carolina. The College’s program does not restrict the use of other calling cards.

Services for the Hearing and/or Speech Impaired

Relay South Carolina: The telephone number for Relay South Carolina is 1-800-735-2905. This service allows people with hearing and/or speech disabilities to use the telephone. The Relay South Carolina facility is staffed 24 hours a day by communication assistants who use special equipment to relay conversations between users of Text Telephones (TTY) and standard telephones.

Text Telephones (TTYs): As a service to those with hearing and/ or speech disabilities, TTYs have been placed at the Public Safety Office and on the 1st floor of the Robert Scott Small Library.

A/V setups
CRMC provides a/v setups to classrooms and other spaces not connected to the Synergy Interactive Video Network.

Video Scheduling (Synergy)
CRMC maintains an interactive video network connected to many classrooms on the main campus. Video sources may be scheduled through the Synergy office. Faculty and Staff requesting this service can control their program from the scheduled room with the provided remote control.
