Classroom Training

Informal, hands-on training sessions are held at the beginning of each fall and spring semester. These sessions are intended to give faculty a quick overview of the equipment in their Smart Classrooms. Sessions often last 2 hours and include a demonstration of the equipment and dedicated time for questions and hands-on activities using any course material or equipment participants would like to try out in the room.

  • WebCT Introduction - This session is designed to give an overview of the Course Management Software called WebCT. WebCT enables the instructor to manage all course content and interactions efficiently. This introduction will cover everything a WebCT newbie needs to know. Topics include: navigating the WebCT interface, customizing the appearance of your class, uploading files, and adding pages and tools. No prior knowledge of WebCT is required! Please contact your Instructional Technologist to set up an appointment.
