Major Student Computer Labs
A major “Student Computer Lab” is defined as a room that contains from 50 to 300 student computing stations and 1 to 10 printer stations to support classroom research and assignments.
The IT Department currently maintains 1 major student computer lab.
A computer classroom is a modified Smart Classroom. The modification is the addition of student computing stations.

Estimated Creation Time: Student computer lab takes approximately 5 months to install from
conception to utilization. Installation of rooms is limited to the summer months and December to
accommodate the academic calendar. Consequently, the minimal starting date of the planning process
must be at least 5 months prior to the planned date of usage (July or January-March).
