LabsThe Information Technology Department supports and services a variety of student labs for the College of Charleston. Student computing labs are located in public locations, such as the Addlestone Library and the North Campus. Within the schools, there are 9 specialties labs are design to support departmental curriculum. There are 5 resident hall student labs that allow students the ability work do research, write papers, complete computer based homework or enjoy the internet and reading their email. The primary student lab is located in Addlestone Library and has 276 computers in the open lab and 12 of there computer stations are for “publicly accessible”. The library is the home of the Student Technology Center. This center allows student the ability to do video projects, create and print posters, use digital cameras to capture images for web pages and high end computers that allow students to use state of the art graphic software such as Photoshop. |
