Departmental Training Rooms

A “Departmental Training Room” is defined as a specialized “Laptop Ready”, “Smart Classroom” or “Computer Classroom”. These rooms are created to support a specific teaching or educational grant goal. Other rooms are used to support Departmental Training. Examples of these types of room are:

  1. Specific Teaching or Educational Grant Training Rooms
    1. Beatty Center Financial Analysis Center (Beatty 120)
    2. Tate Center Printing Services (Student Investment Club Venture) (Tate 305)
    3. Simmons Digital Photography
    4. Eye Tracking Research (RSS 130)
  2. Department Training Rooms
    1. Battery Training Room (RSS 132)
    2. HR Training Room (LCTR B10)
    3. Public Safety Training Room
    4. IT Training Room (Bell Building)
    5. FTC (Long 317
  3. Some of the rooms are built exactly like technology based classrooms. However, in special cases, added technology is required to meet the needs of the users. Each room must be carefully analysis and if additional equipment is required the IT Classroom Manager with the Project Sponsor will be required to identify the additional requirements which will be incorporated into the design of the training room.
