The Instructional Technologists offer their resources and expertise free of charge for College of Charleston faculty to support teaching. See Mission Charter.
We are available to consult with faculty regarding the process of planning, developing and implementing of anything related to technology and teaching. Areas for consultation include but are not limited to:
- assist in the use of current and emerging technologies which can be applied to instructional and academic activities.
- resolve the challenges of integrating technology into instruction.
- development of technology-enhanced projects related to teaching and learning.
- provide training opportunities in the application of technology in instruction through one-on-one sessions, workshops, and other means as deemed necessary.
- advise faculty on the use of technology to support teaching, learning, and research goals.
- assist in the design, development, and integration of technology enhanced instructional materials.
- assist in the assessment of technology practices in teaching.
- assist in the development of on-line course design.
- create video or audio projects.
