Institute Goals
After completion of the institute, faculty will be able to:
- Increase the number of faculty using technology effectively in instruction.
- Demonstrate how technology can enhance the pedagogy and practices seen in the traditional classroom.
- Introduce new ideas for curriculum development.
- Instruct faculty in the use of various software programs for the purpose of enhancing traditional information delivery mechanisms.
- Lay groundwork for measuring the effectiveness of technology used for teaching.
- Provide hands-on overview of WebCT features, capabilities, and homepage design.
Outcomes
Participants who attended agreed to assist the liaisons with an investigation of the effectiveness of the tools within WebCT by agreeing to collect data and reporting on at least one WebCT tool.
