TLT Facilities and Equipment
The Faculty Technology Center (FTC) is designed to provide faculty with hardware and software resources that are considered more “high-end” than those that are typically available with their office machines. Located in Room 317 of the J.C. Long Building, the FTC contains computers that are suitable for creating and working with advanced computing tasks, such as video editing and computer graphics design. FTC equipment also allows faculty to digitize various media, such as videotapes, DVDs, slides, 35mm film, photographs, and text documents. Once digitized, these media can be further tailored to deliver instruction more efficiently in the classroom.
TLT also provides several pieces of equipment that faculty may check out and take with them to use for instructional purposes. These include laptops, projectors, digital cameras (still and video), and digital projectors.
