Program for -(au')'=f, u(0)=u(1)=0 with arbitrary mesh, computing the residual
norm. Use this to manually (or automatically) adjust teh mesh to achieve
a given error tolerance by equidistribution of error, using the residual
norm as both the error measure and the quantity that is equidistributed,
since (up to a constant) this is what one must do in practice.
