The Lowcountry Hall of Science and Math offers a wealth of education and technology resources. In addition to finding friendly help and excellent advice, you will also find a wonderful Resource Library and a convenient meeting facility. We encourage you to visit us and explore all that we have to share.

Resource Library: The Resource Library houses standards-based instructional materials including kits, manipulatives, professional journals, funding resources, posters, maps, microscopes, audio/visual equipment, videos, and slide sets. Many of these items are available on loan and a wealth of other resources are offered free upon request.

Meeting Facility: The LHSM's Meeting Facility is a multimedia curricular demonstration center. The lab is equiped with a ceiling-mounted LCD projector that may be utilized from a laptop or the presenter workstation. The workstation contains a Dell computer with Internet access and a scanner. The lab is set up with four round tables that can seat 16. Additional tables are available. The facility provides the perfect environment for workshops, presentations, and meetings. To reserve the lab for educational purposes, please contact Starr Jordan at 843.953.7847 or jordank@cofc.edu.

Web Resources: Staff members at the LHSM have also compiled a list of their favorite math and science links.

Resources on Accessibility: The NASA-funded Southeast Regional Clearinghouse (SERCH) worked closely with educators of students with disabilities, experts and NASA education product developers to implement more effective ways for ALL students to share in the excitement of NASA space science missions. The broker program at NASA, which included SERCH, has recently concluded; however the Lowcountry Hall is committed to providing the resources, obtained over the seven years of SERCH's Initiative, to the community.
