Virtual Reference: Chat with a Librarian

Check out our new chat service!  The virtual reference desk is open from 1 pm to 5 pm Monday through Friday.  We’re eager to help you and your students, so please try us out.

As a user, there isn’t anything you need to know in order to try out the service.  Our goal is to help you be a more efficient and discriminating researcher.  During the course of a chat session, we may send you web pages, library catalog records, and database search results.  If you leave our chat window to look at something we’ve sent to you, remember to come back to us!  We’ll be waiting!

For more information about the library’s chat service, check out the FAQ or the earlier Lurker article.  If you have questions about the service or want to discuss how we might help your students with their research, please start a chat with us or contact Alisa Whitt, whitta@cofc.edu or 953-5477.
