New Librarians on Staff
The library is happy to welcome our two newest librarians to the reference staff:  Alis Whitt Rossi and Burton Callicott.   Alis had been the team leader for the Academic Computing Liaisons for the past three years.  She joined the library faculty in 1993.

Alis received her B.A. in English from Warren Wilson College and her Masters in Library Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

A self-described native of Tennessee / Wisconsin / Oregon, Burton Callicott received his graduate degree in Library Science from the University of South Carolina.  Formerly a reference librarian and liaison to the Business Department at Long Island University in Brooklyn, Burton’s primary responsibilities included collection development, course-integrated bibliographic instruction, and web-based resource guide development..

He will be the new library liaison to the business department here as well as coordinator of library staff training and instruction.
