Division of Marketing and Communications

The Division of Marketing and Communications develops and implements campuswide marketing and communications initiatives and provides leadership in building awareness of, and support for, the College of Charleston's strategic goals. The marketing and communications team provides timely information about the College's programs, projects and activities to internal and external audiences.

We are responsible for enhancing the College's image and identity by informing students, alumni, parents and the public about the College through publications, media relations, event marketing, advertising and print and electronic communications.

 

Manages the College's marketing and communications programs, and oversees branding and visual identity standards and procedures.

Communicates College stories and messages to local, regional and national media outlets. Serves as contact for the College to the media.

Produces general print pieces for the College including the College of Charleston Magazine and the monthly employee newsletter, The Portico.

Provides marketing and branding services for events that enhance the College's image and identity.

Plans, implements and manages marketing programs and initiatives for admissions (undergraduate and graduate) and academic units.

Provides web publishing and consulting services to the College departments and offices.

Creates, coordinates and implements strategies for presidential-level communications and manages external communications affecting the College’s institutional identity.

Creates print materials and advertising to promote departmental and institutionwide programs, initiatives and events.
