Event Parking

Event parking is limited to designated lots and access is controlled by the Department of Parking Services at the College of Charleston. A limited number of metered spaces and off-street parking is also available. Vehicles parked in a College of Charleston parking lot must have a valid permit properly displayed to avoid receiving a citation. Public Parking

Visitors may park in any of the city or College of Charleston parking garages. The normal hourly rate applies and varies by location. A few nearby garages include:

Gaillard Garage
On Alexander Street between Calhoun and George Streets, behind the Charleston County School District Office
George Street Garage
On St. Philip Street between George and Liberty Streets, next to CVS/pharmacy
St. Philip Street Garage
On St. Philip Street between Vanderhorst and Calhoun Streets
Wentworth Street Garage
On the corner of Wentworth and St. Philip Streets
George Street Surface Parking Lot
On George Street, across from the Carolina First Arena
Marion Square Garage
On King Street across from Marion Square

Near the corner of King and Market Streets, behind Saks
Renaissance Garage
On Wentworth Street across from the Renaissance Hotel

Handicap-accessible parking

Handicap-accessible parking is available in all of the garages with a valid, state-issued handicap placard. Individuals with disabilities may be dropped off on the George Street side of the arena for access to the main entrance on Meeting Street.
