Celeste Lacroix was on a bus heading into the city about the time of the explosions. A College of Charleston assistant professor of communication, she was on her way to the airport to return to Charleston after six weeks of teaching at the college's study-abroad campus in Trujillo. No one seemed to know what had happened, Lacroix said, but the unusually heavy traffic, police and helicopters pointed to something bad.
