Marketing and Communications Task Force

Integrated marketing and branding are the tools everyone at the College of Charleston can use to create awareness of the College and its importance in the lives of our constituents (prospective and current students, alumni, parents, the community, friends, donors, etc.).

Through integrated marking and branding, we can work together to build a stronger regional and national identity for the College of Charleston, increase support for our programs and initiatives, and help the College of Charleston live its mission and realize its vision and strategic goals.

The College of Charleston's Marketing and Communications Task Force, with representatives from more than two dozen areas of campus, collaborates to create and implement Integrated Marketing, Communications and Branding strategies for the College of Charleston. The Task Force examines the College's institutional image and reputation, messages, visual identity and marketing communications to ensure they are consistent and of the highest quality. The Task Force plans and diseminates the best strategies for the College to manage its marketing and communications functions, and oversees the Brand Manual and Style Guide used by everyone on campus to streamline, enhance and improve our marketing and communications efforts.

The responsibilities of Task Force members are: to bring forward information, questions and issues from the areas they represent; to work collaboratively within the task force to develop a college-wide integrated marketing, branding and communications plan; and to be responsible for informing those in the area they represent about how to achieve consistent implementation and quality of marketing initiatives within their area.

Minutes of the Task Force meetings will be posted on this site as they become available. The Task Force will meet on the first Wednesday of each month.
