Schools and classrooms improve by:

o Using collaborative governance structures that bring together multiple partners who offer varied perspectives on issues and solutions

o Making informed decisions using a wide array of data and a systematic inquiry process

o Encouraging curriculum and instruction that accelerates students’ learning

o Creating cohesive cultures (including processes and systems) that work together to improve all students’ lives
