RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE UNDERGRADUATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES
Students who graduated successfully in the summer or fall 2015 term, who did not participate in a prior ceremony, will be eligible to participate in the May 2016 ceremony. You do not have to inform our office; it’s automatic!
All applicants for Spring OR Summer 2016 graduation will be eligible to participate in the May 2016 Commencement Ceremonies. Graduates do not need to inform us they plan to participate—inclusion on the list is automatic as long as you apply to graduate*. Information about the ceremonies will be available on the Senior Information website which is updated each semester. Petitions to participate are no longer required for summer graduates; simply apply to graduate in the term you intend to complete degree requirements. You do not need to inform us of your choice of ceremony; if you are eligible according to the rules above; you will be on the list to receive tickets.
If you are graduating with more than one major, click here for more information: Multi-Major recognition at commencement
Students may not participate with schools/majors other than their own. Visit the Senior Information website to determine the date and time of the ceremony for your school.
*restrictions apply; contact email@example.com if you have trouble applying to graduate; students who will graduate in the fall 2016 term will be eligible for the May 2017 ceremony
***Please be advised, participation in a commencement ceremony does not equal graduation. Students must meet all graduation requirements before a degree is conferred and the diploma awarded.***
