Founded in 1770 and chartered in 1785, the College of Charleston is the oldest institution of higher education in the state of South Carolina and the thirteenth oldest in the United States. Through the years our institution has grown from a school of twenty to a current enrollment of about 10,000 undergraduate students. The Student Government Association has represented those students based on the principles of Integrity, Honor, and Fidelity since our founding in 1922.
The Senate meets every Tuesday of the Academic year at 4:30pm in the Stern Center Ballroom. All are welcome!
