Cougar Excursion
The 2008 Cougar Excursion is Sold Out.
Cougar Excursion helps students begin the transition to the College of Charleston. Participants begin their College experience through interaction with other incoming freshmen, as well as student leaders and administrators.

Activities include:
- Mingling with first-year students, as well as upperclassmen
- Discovering ways to become involved in on-campus activities
- Participating in leadership group initiatives and activities
- Developing the kinds of leadership skills and strategies that will ensure a positive and productive first-year experience
- Learning about the legends and traditions of the College
- Trip Information Details:
- July 25-27, 2008
- St. Christopher Conference Center, Seabrook Island
- $135 (includes all costs for lodging, food, and transportation to/from campus to the conference site)
- Cougar Excursion Departure, Friday, July 25, 2008
- Cougar Excursion will start and end on the College of Charleston campus, and transportation will be provided to St. Christopher Conference Center, Seabrook Island
- Registration will take place at the Higdon Student Leadership Center, 69 Coming Street, on Friday July 25th between 1pm and 1:45pm
- The bus will leave for Seabrook Island at 2pm
- Cougar Excursion Return: Back on campus, Sunday, July 27, 2008
- Students will arrive back on campus at approximately 10:15 am
- Activities on campus will continue until 2pm
- Students may depart campus at 2pm

Cougar Excursion '08 planning is underway. The event will be July 25-27, 2008. The location is St. Christopher Conference Center, Seabrook Island.
