ECON 350 Financial Markets in the U.S. Economy (3)

An introduction to the operation of financial markets in the U.S. economy, emphasizing market instruments and the use of these instruments by various financial institutions and market participants. The final week of the course is spent attending seminars at various moneycenter financial institutions and markets.

Offerings:

Prerequisites: Junior standing; ECON 200, 201, ECON 305 is recommended. Permission of the instructor is required; computer literate.
