SBE New Admissions Policy (Effective Fall Semester 2006)

The School of Business and Economics has instituted a policy effective Fall semester 2006, to determine the admission of eligible students to majors within the School. Students will be required to achieve the minimum grade of C- in the following courses before being accepted into the School of Business and Economics and declaring majors:

ACCT 203 Financial Accounting

ACCT 204 Managerial Accounting

ECON 200 Microeconomics

ECON 201 Macroeconomics

MATH 104 Elementary Statistics

MATH 105 Calculus for Business

DSCI 232 Business Statistics

Students interested in the programs at the School of Business and Economics should contact the Student Success Center for more information on the process and to complete the Intent to Declare form if applicable. There will be mandatory advising, monitoring of progress and registration restriction for those who choose this academic path.
