Halsey Gallery to Host “Young Contemporaries 2002”

The William Halsey Gallery at the College of Charleston’s School of the Arts is hosting the annual juried student exhibition, “Young Contemporaries 2002” from April 5 - May 2. This year’s juror was David Shirey, Chair of the Master of Fine Arts Program at the School of Fine Arts, New York City, NY. “Young Contemporaries 2002” is co-sponsored by the Halsey Gallery, the Department of Studio Art, and the College of Charleston’s Visual Arts Club.

Each spring, students at the College who have shown exceptional artistic ability are invited to exhibit in the professional setting of the Halsey Gallery. “Young Contemporaries 2002” offers the greater Charleston community a unique opportunity to view works produced by students from throughout the College.
