Tricia Thelen (MFA in Scene Design - University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music) has designed opera, musicals, and drama for universities and other companies, including the University of Cincinnati, Miami University of Ohio, Louisiana State University, The Village Playhouse of Mount Pleasant, and the Opera Theatre of Lucca in Italy. She has done scene painting, property and construction work for the Cincinnati Opera, the Dayton Opera, the Ensembe Theater of Cincinnati, and the Kincaid Regional Theatre of Kentucky. Some of her favorite set designs include The Country Wife, As You Like It, Once on This Island, Cosi fan tutti, and The Caucasian Chalk Circle. Favorite set and costume designs include La Mamelles de Tiresias, La Cambiale di Matrimonio, and Richard II. Tricia teaches Scenic Design at the College of Charleston where she is an associate professor.

On the side Tricia designs business decor, including designing the interiors for Shenz Theatrical Supply and Shanghai Mama's Restaurant in Cincinnati.
