Finance Committee

The Finance Committee shall provide to the full Board financial overview of the College, including the recommendation of policies and procedures governing the funding of the yearly operational plans, and the financing of its long-term capital needs. The Committee will primarily focus its attention on the budgeting, financing, financial reporting, and internal control aspects of the College. It will recommend funding options for facility construction/acquisition plans as developed by, and/or in coordination with, the Facilities Committee. The Committee will review the internal and external audit reports relating to any and all financial matters of the College, and the financial reports of the College's related organizations. It will provide materially significant financial information to the full Board with necessary interpretations of any impact to the missions/plans of the College.

The following items will constitute a significant portion of the Committee's agenda for the corresponding meeting:

Review prior quarter budget amendments

April Review of Student fee structures and recommended modifications

July Review recommended operating budget for new fiscal year

October Review operational results of Auxiliary Enterprises
  Review final budget reports from previous fiscal year
