ACCOUNTING & LEGAL STUDIES SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarship applied directly to tuition through The College of Charleston Foundation:
The applicant must be an undergraduate
accounting (ACCT) major who
has completed at least 9 credits in ACCT (minimum of 6
credits at
CofC) and 54 hours overall as of January 2008. Also, the
applicant must
have plans to enroll in undergraduate courses at the College
in Fall
2008 as the scholarship will be used to defray future undergraduate
tuition costs in Fall and/or Spring semesters.
Awards provided by various vendors of CPA Exam Review products:
The applicant must be either an undergraduate-level accounting
student (BS Accounting) or a graduate-level accounting student
(MS Accountancy) who is graduating between May and December.
The applicant must also intend on taking the CPA Exam within
the 18 months following his/her graduation date.
The Greenville Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) offers two (2) $500 scholarships to accounting and finance undergraduate students each year. If you have completed sixty (60) college credit hours and are an ACCT undergraduate, you are eligible to apply. The ASWA Scholarship application deadline for this year is February 1, 2008.
