Graduate Assistantships (GA) are awarded to fully admitted, degree
seeking graduate students who are enrolled full-time (nine hours
of graduate coursework per semester) and maintain at least a 3.0
grade point average. In some cases, an assistantship is awarded
to a student who has completed all of their courses, yet is actively
involved in research on a full-time basis.
Students who are interested in an assistantship apply to the
administrative office of their program with the exception to
Education majors who will need to apply directly to the Graduate
School Office.
The College of Charleston is an equal opportunity employer.
In order to insure equal access of jobs to all eligible students,
employers are encouraged to post their assistantship opportunities
on the Graduate School Bulletin Board.
