Japanese Literature in Translation in the Spring

Wednesday 04 October 2006 at 12:14 pm Since the time to register for the spring semester is approaching, I thought you might want to know that I'd be offering a Japanese Literature in English Translation course (LTJP 250: TTh 9:25-10:40 a.m.) in the spring. It's a survey of modern Japanese literature and we will cover an anthology of short stories, a few novels, and a couple of films (both live action and animated ones). There is no prerequisite for the course. It will count towards the general education humanities requirement as well as the Japanese Studies Minor requirement.

I hope many of you will consider taking it!
