Xgallery

User Guide

Xgallery is an image selection utility developed for use in conjunction with PointCount’99. It allows the user to view a set of images bearing some commonality in filename (see Figure 2 in PointCount’99 User Manual) and select a subset, or gallery, of images for pointcounting analysis. Xgallery creates a select file which can be viewed as a text file and contains the image numbers selected. It should be noted that Xgallery does not alter the location of images selected for the gallery. As developed for the US EPA CRMP, Xgallery is used to examine all imagery gathered from a transect in order to create a sequence of non-overlapping images.
