CofC Crew Club

Introduction
One of the greatest feelings is to be on an open body of water, away from campus, in a boat with eight other like-minded individuals all striving for teamwork and a fast boat. You too can do this as part of the crew club.

The College's crew club began in 1990 and regularly fields 50-60 rowers who compete in four and eight-man boats. The team travels the Southeast to compete in regattas such as the Head of the Hooch and Head of the South against such schools as SCAD, Clemson, and the University of Tennessee. Our team has done well against this level of competition and has garnered over 110 medals the last few years.

The team travels each October to Boston for the world's largest regatta, the Head of the Charles.  Each May they head to Philadelphia for the Dad Vails regatta.

The team calls the Bristol Marina home and it is located only a few blocks from the campus. From there, the team rows on the Ashley River, amidst dolphins and alongside the historical mansions on the Battery.

To get involved with the crew club, call a team rep from the contact list .
