Vaccinia Virus Research

Dr. Cindy Wright (MUSC) and I have been collaborating on research with vaccinia virus. We are working to understand how several viral transcription factors interact to stimulate transcription of the vaccinia virus "late genes". The pictures below show the students who worked on the project during summer 2003 and summer 2004. Undergradute students also worked on the project during the 2003-2004 academic year.
