• Carolyn Morales, Associate Vice President for Diversity/Executive Director
  Serving as the College of Charleston´s first chief diversity officer is Carolyn Morales, associate vice president for diversity. She joined the College of Charleston in September of 2005, and has more than nine years of experience leading institutional diversity initiatives.

  In her current role, Carolyn is responsible for providing leadership in the design, development, implementation, and assessment of a college-wide diversity plan. She serves as an advisor to the President and Senior Staff on matters related to inclusion and equity, and chairs the Strategic Diversity Management Council.

  Prior to her arrival at CofC, Carolyn served as assistant dean of intercultural programs and services at Wells College in Aurora, NY.
