Profile
Sharon George is ABD at Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, PA. She is writing her dissertation on the aesthetics and rhetorics of nineteenth-century British poetry written by women, focusing on Anne Batten Cristall, Emily Brontë, and Mary Elizabeth Coleridge. While her research currently rests in the nineteenth-century, her teaching experience is in first-year writing. She is continuing in this vein at the College as an instructor of English 101 and 102.
