Fellow Cougars,
On behalf of the entire Greek system and community, welcome to the College of Charleston! A college education is priceless and so are the memories that you make along the way. The purpose of this site is to introduce you and your family to Greek Life here on our campus and prepare you for an experience that can possibly be the very best of your life. Being a member of a Greek letter organization gives you the opportunity to become involved from the beginning of your college career.
The transition into college can raise many questions and concerns about your future achievements. Will I fit it? Will I succeed academically? Will I find people with similar interests as me? Involvement with campus community can eliminate the anxiety of these common questions. More specifically, sororities and fraternities help you find your niche at the College of Charleston. In addition, they offer academic assistance, encourage involvement in other student and community organizations, open doors for numerous opportunities, and help develop your social skills.
