Phi Eta Sigma

Phi Eta Sigma is the oldest and largest freshman honor society. It is a member of The Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS), which is the nation's only certifying agency for college and university honor societies. There are now more than 300 chapters throughout the United States with more than 700,000 members. Phi Eta Sigma’s Founders Scholarship Fund provides more than 80 undergraduate and graduate scholarships each year totaling $225,000.

The College of Charleston founded its of Phi Eta Sigma chapter in February 2007. The next induction will take place in October 2007. Sophomores with a 3.60 or greater GPA will be invited to join. Academic, social, service, and leadership opportunities are available to Phi Eta Sigma members at the College of Charleston.
