Teaching
 Welcome students, Friends and Well-wishers!
I received my Ph.D from the Banaras Hindu University (Varanasi, India), M.Sc. from the Cochin University of Science & Technology (Kochi, India), and B.Sc. from the Calicut University (Kozhikode, India). I joined the Departmet of Physics and Astronomy in August, 2004.

Students those who are interested in experimental physics are welcome to do their undergraduate/graduate research in my laboratory. I have a broad interest in Nanoscience and Technology, especially the spectroscopic, acoustic, and electron microscopic characterization of technologically important materials including carbon nanotubes, Bi nanorods, quantum dots, photonic crystals, rare earth laser materials, and aerogels.
