New Database Added-Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center
Database of contemporary social issues with content structured to promote critical-thinking skills and information literacy. The database contains more than 400 reference book titles and over than 8,700 pro and con viewpoint articles. The resource also contains periodicals, podcasts, reviewed Web links, images, statistical tables, charts and graphs.

New Database Added- Disstertations & Theses: Full Text
The ProQuest Dissertations & Theses database includes over 2 million master's theses and dissertations, with over 60,000 titles added every year. It's a great resource for researchers in a wide variety of fields.

CofC Library Acquires 1st Edition Herodotus
The Special Collections department at the College of Charleston Addlestone Library has acquired a 1502 Aldine first edition of Herodotus’ Histories.

New Look for the Library Catalog!
The library catalog, where you can search for books & other materials, has an updated design!

New Additions to ARTstor!
ARTstor, which documents artistic traditions across many times and cultures, has added images from the Library of Congress "Eyes of the Nation" collection.

New Database Added!
America's Historical Newspapers 1690-1876 includes 350,000 fully searchable issues from over 700 historical American newspapers.

New Additions to Oxford Reference Online!
This useful reference database has just added 5 new encyclopedias!

Bank of America Donates Rare Book to Addlestone Library Special Collections
Bank of America has donated An Account of the Weather and Diseases of South Carolina, by Dr. Lionel Chalmers, to Special Collections of the Addlestone Library at the College of Charleston.
