What are the Multicultural ExCEL Awards?

The 2008 Multicultural ExCEL Awards Event is sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and hosted by the Office of Multicultural Student Programs and Services.
This event is designed to honor students, faculty, staff, and neighborhood groups/agencies/companies and/or individuals for their continuing work of excellence. This excellence can be displayed in teaching, athleticism, student learning/leadership, departmental progress, and good neighbors while spreading the benefits of diversity and enhancing multiculturalism on our campus, in the community, and in their everyday lives.


Who is Multicultural Student Progams and Services (MSPS)?

We have a network of programs and services to enhance and support all facets of student life and academic success. The following are some examples.

Spectra Summer Session II is July 6 – August 7, 2008

SPECTRA is a four and one half week summer residential program designed to assist incoming students of color and/or first generation students in making a smooth transition from high school to college.
