  1. (1 Sep) Go out and look at the sky before next Monday. How would you describe it's shape? How would you describe the size and position of something (like the Moon) "on" the sky?

  3. (8 Sep) The Celestial Sphere.

  4. (8 Sep) Daily and Yearly Motion of the Sky.

  5. (17 Sep) Phases of the Moon.

  6. (29 Sep) Go over the first exam, and circle the right answers. You can use your text and notes. After you've completed it on your own, you can discuss it with a classmate. Turn in your corrected exams on Wednesday in class (I won't accept them later than Friday at 5 PM). You will receive a boost to your exam score if you complete this assignment.
