SCHOLARSHIPS

Charlie Post Memorial  Scholarship

Any student who enters the Athletic Training or Exercise Science concentration has the opportunity to apply for the Charlie Post Memorial Scholarship of $1,500.00.  Dr. Post was head of our student health services, a tri-athlete, and a staunch supporter of the field of sports medicine.  Each year the Charleston Running Club sponsors a run in his honor to fund this prestigious scholarship.  The Department of Physical Education and Health and the Department of Biology are the only two disciplines from which a student may apply for this scholarship.  This scholarship rewards academic excellence and the promotion of sports medicine.  Applications are taken in the SPRING for the following year and are available in the Financial Assistance Office from mid-February through late March.
