NK is interested in the spectroscopic, acoustic, and microscopic characterization of photonic materials, nanomaterials, and aerogels. His research equipment, located in room 134 RSS, includes a UV/Vis spectrometer, a photo-acoustic spectrometer, a Fourier Transform IR spectrometer and an electron microscope.
